Leadership
Kyu Chong – President and CTO
Mr. Chong is President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at iCYLON, LLC. Mr. Chong has 26 years of experience optimizing operational capabilities and delivering high-value products.
Prior to joining iCYLON, he worked at CACI from 2018 to 2020 as the CTO for Enterprise IT Business Group, developing technical strategies, building corporate relationships (e.g., SpaceX), selecting investment opportunities, and developing strategies for emerging technologies and differentiators, and leading several multi-billion dollar pursuits.
Mr. Chong supported the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), from 2017 to 2018, with his efforts on the Leveraging the Analog Domain for Security (LADS) project, which focused on cyber security.
From 1997 to 2017 Mr. Chong worked for The MITRE Corporation supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Agency customers. Among his accomplishments were a successful $30 million Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD). Mr. Chong also led semiconductor-level hardware protocol vulnerability research and development, and engineered Command Centers for United States Forces Korea J2 Indications & Warning Center, Command Post TANGO, 2ID ACE, 8th Army, and other sites around the world.
Before joining MITRE, Mr. Chong worked for Electronic Data Systems.
